Student Level: All welcome
Type of Workshop: Process oriented class. Focus will be on learning various techniques with instruction given on how to incorporate elements made in class into jewelry pieces.

Every jewelry maker should have an arsenal of techniques for making links and connections. In this class we’ll explore many different methods for link making, including rosary wrapped links, S links, dream catcher links, fabric wrapped links, paddles, spring links, scroll links and more. I’ll also show how to make perfect jump rings with plain wire and twisted wire and how to make a beautiful, strong clasp. If you’ve never worked with a torch, you’ll get comfortable with it here. This class will expand your cache of jewelry making skills and enable you to create beautiful connections to add to your pieces. Students will learn how to incorporate the various elements into their jewelry creations and have the option, in class, to work on connecting their links to create a necklace or bracelet.
