Join Tom for a fascinating, inventive and revelatory 3 hour tour of the cold connection techniques he has been using in his work for more than thirty years. You will encounter his unique perspective on riveting, slots and tabs, and his very personal “miniature bolting system”. You will witness demonstrations of these and other cold connection techniques as well as having several hands on opportunities to practice what you learned using the tools and materials in this informative workshop. Prepare to be FASTENated!
Fastenation!™ kit fee of $32 payable to instructor at class time includes:
- 2" brass tubing
- 2" silver tubing
- 10 each .080 Nuts, Screws & Bolts, Copper Rivets, Washers, Nylon Separators
- 1 2" x 3" Sheet of 1/8" Clear Plexiglass
- 1 2" x 3" Sheet of 1/8" Faux Bone™
- 6 Machined Brass Parts
Additional Materials Kit $8 (You can either buy this kit at class time or bring your own items)
- 1 3" x 4" Sheet of 22g Brass or Bronze
- 4" 10g Copper Wire
- 18" 22g Steel Binding Wire
