Steampunk Bracelet

Inspired by the texture and forms of the cogs and wheels of the Steampunk movement, create a bracelet using mixed metals. Textured discs provide the base. Weave wire and headpins through punched holes to create various cog~like textures. Add a strong clasp for a fabulous bracelet!

Optional Kit Fee of $60 payable to Instructor at class time includes: Copper discs provided; Silver discs available as an upgrade for purchase, copper and silver wire, jump rings, handmade copper headpins

If you choose not to purchase the optional kit, you must bring the following items:
6-7 1” copper, silver or bronze discs
All wire listed below is round dead soft:
Disc #1 requires: 6 in 16 G, 6 in 14 G Copper
Disc #2 requires: 8 in 16 G, 5 in 16 G SS
Disc #3 requires: 8 x 2.5” copper headpins 22 Gauge 2.5” before making them
Disc #4 requires: 18” 18 G SS, 1.5” 24 G copper
Disc #5 requires: 6 x 2.5” copper headpins 18 Gauge 2.5” before making them
Disc #6 requires: 15” silver 18 G, 1.5 ft 24 G copper
6 -7 Jumprings 14 G, 6 MM

Optional :
The Extension 5” 16 G

Instructor provides for student's use in class; an assortment of Fretz texturing hammers, Design stamps, 1.25 and 1.80 MM holepunches, 2 utility hammers

Chain nose pliers
Flat nose pliers
Flush cutters
Long round nose pliers
Chasing hammer
Pounding block & pad
Utility hammer
Texturing hammers ( Fretz)
Sharpie
Ruler & tape measure
Emery Board 180/100 grit
Polishing cloth
1.25 mm holepunch
1.80 mm holepunch
