Picture Perfect Pods!

Think flowers are passé? Well, pods and buds are all the rage...and in this class you can learn to make your own floral and foliage pod style beads, pendants and earrings. Lynne Ann will guide the students through making two different types of pods and buds that can be either extremely lifelike or out-of-this-world unusual! Students will learn to work with petal canes, dimensional pod beads, inner parts and cones to make partially open pods, antiquing, finishing and more. Students will learn a bit of sculpting in the process of making these pieces.
Students will use the instructor’s canes to create a pod and a bud bead or pendant.
Optional Kit Fee of $28 payable to Instructor at class time includes: polymer clay millefiori canes, pod bases, Studio By Sculpey clay, antiquing medium sample kit, adhesive medium, roller, drill, eye screw, premade center bits, deli wrap, baby wipes, stiff blade, index cards, neck cord, detailed written/graphical instructions
Materials Fee of $8 payable to Instructor at class time for students choosing not to purchase the inclusive kit for supplies produced and provided by the instructor (such as templates, forms, and several color and b&w handouts.) This Materials Fee is already included in the kit fee for those students who are purchasing the kit.
*Those who register for the workshop can elect not to purchase the optional kit from instructor and instead will receive a detailed list of items necessary for the workshop. Please note on your Registration form if you wish to receive the detailed list.
