Say hello to the newest edition to the metal clay family. Copper clay is fun and easy to work with. In this workshop, you will get hands-on experience with this new form of metal clay while creating beautifully textured “cut out” bracelet links and a toggle clasp. Class discussion includes lots of tips and techniques for successful forming, joining, and finishing of this great new clay.
(Note: due to the long firing schedule for copper clay, pieces will not be available for pick up until the following morning.)
Kit Fee of $20 payable to Instructor at class time includes: metal clay tools, head pin, jump rings, polishing papers
Supplies Provided by Instructor: additional metal clay tools, as necessary, texture stamps and plates, clay cutters, miscellaneous workshop supplies and consumables, firing and finishing supplies

metal or plastic palette knife
