Art Face Treasure Necklace

you will create a “one of a kind” wearable art piece. you will use a prepared domino with a face image from my rubber stamp line. coloring it with colored pencils we will then seal it and it will become the focal point of this amazing piece. the picture pretty much says it all! stringing, knotting, (a tiny bit of macrame if you so choose) we will spend an inspired and relaxing time together.....students will have color options in class. the necklace will be strung on an adjustable leather cord. Necklace may not be completed in class - depending on the speed of student.
supplies provided by instructor: leather cord, prepared domino, large split rings, black twine, black waxed linen, 2 fabric accent buttons, various seed beads, and crystals, hand out and a photo of the class sample.
students bring:
scissors
colored pencils (prismacolor if you have them, soft lead, if not i will bring some to borrow)
if you use a tool for knot tying you can bring that (optional)
keep in mind this is a “close up” beading project so bring whatever you need to see what you are doing!
if you would like to bring any additional seed beads and/or crystals to assure your color choice you can, but that is completely your choice....i will provide all the beads needed for the project.Questions? Email Paula at paulabest@earthlink.net
