This class is great for all levels of students. No need to know how to draw or paint! There will be some aids and techniques taught that will be fun and easy tricks for beginner students and intermediate students. The unique nature of color use and materials will give the advanced students a fun approach to traditional styles. Fun for everyone! Kellie Newsome is a bright and colorful artist that will teach you how to turn a beautiful photo of a floral into a fun and bold painting with tons of movement and interest. She has a very simple class structure and will show you each stage with great detail. She will create a complete painting along with you to show every stage. Kellie will teach you how to use a limited color pallet to create simple harmony in a very easy fun way! She will show you how to create on the unique surface of MDF boards and how to combine different pencils at different stages of your painting to create fun marks! She will show you how to pick a strong photo reference and use it to create something loose and unique with a big punch. This style of creating provides great inspiration to add splashes of color and vibrant marks to any subject matter. Added bonus: Kellie has been teaching this class for many years and is always a big ball of energy and is a lot of fun to be around!!! Everyone will have a good time and learn tons of information!
