The term spontaneous watercolor can be deceiving. We have to learn some techniques and be open to discovery to make our painting appear spontaneous. It's my job and pleasure to help you achieve that! I love watching as each of you experience that joy and freedom. My methods take away the intimidation and fear that usually comes with trying new ideas. I remember all too well that feeling of unfamiliarity with the tools and methods. I guarantee you will learn so much and come away with an excitement for watercolor. This is your chance to PLAY! Please bring along photos of your pets and other animals. I will also bring lots of photos. Good photos help make good paintings. Look for a strong light source and shadows in your photographs. If you are unsure of your drawing skills, we can transfer your photos onto the watercolor paper. Kit/Materials Fee (payable to instructor at class time):
