I'm an over 50 year old mother of three, I’m married, and disabled since 2003. I grew up surrounded by artists, and crafters and learned many types of medium and I hope to show and help others understand that their fears in the process of creation are needless. Creativity stems from the voice inside of you just waiting to burst outside the shell of fear. Whatever your creative voice says to you is your version of art. My work has been published in various editions of Somerset Studio’s “Gallery” over the past five years. I have been teaching out of my home studio since 2007, and have hosted over 10 special event gatherings in which various projects were completed from shadowboxes, assembling vintage ornament wreaths, upcycled Creative PaperClay doll classes, assembly and décor of Christmas cottage ornaments (putz houses) using Melissa Francis kits, and more. I was taught back in 2005 by Tim Holtz and a small group of ladies in distressing techniques and have replicated the process many times over with students in my studio. I have taught classes at Mystic Paper, in downtown Mesa, AZ (currently not in business) as well as being one of their first voted in designers for a period of one year. I am currently teaching at ScrapBook Barn, located in Gilbert, AZ as well as continuing to teach in my home studio at 3369 E. Vaughn Ave., Gilbert, AZ 85234.
