W/C Art Journal: Supplementing & Complimenting 6:30 - 9:30 Sunday Jacqueline Newbold $70
Student Level: All
Type of Workshop: Process and Project
Prerequisite: None
Spice up your watercolor art journal with this fun, easy embellishing technique. Combining beautiful watercolor painting, mixed media and rubber stamps, you will learn how to make intriguing additions that will liven up any page in your art journals. Starting with gorgeous, colorful watercolor washes, your pages will be the perfect backdrop for adding these pretty surprises. We will use different types of paper to get a variety of textural effects. Artists are very tactile and inserting dimensional objects adds a component of mystery, engaging the reader to explore beyond the flat dimension of the page. This is a great way to start or finish a journal page with flair!
