Nuno felting combined with interesting fabrics and textures creates the most intriguing and unique artwork that is a pleasure to wear or display in your home. Nuno felting is an age old process that involves getting wool fibers soapy and wet and then rolling it in bubble wrap to create a fabric that is strong and durable. In the Upcycled, Felted, and Fused workshop, the additional element of silk, cotton, rayon, and wool creates an interesting combination of color and texture. The resulting piece is durable and stunning. They are truly masterpieces and are meant to be worn and/or displayed with pride!

In this class you will learn:
The students will learn the characteristics of wool and the process of nuno felting by creating.
Each student will learn about the elements of design and how they can be used to enhance the appearance of their work.
Each student will have the opportunity to create at least 2 articles.
