Tintype Texture 6:30 -9:30 Thursday
  Cindy Kovack $70

Student Level: All
levels welcome
Type of Workshop: Process and Project
Prerequisite: None

I love Tin Type photographs. They are expensive and difficult to find in today’s market. I wanted to create a textural collage piece that incorporated the tonal colors of a Tintype photo copy. In this project/techniques workshop you will learn a simplistic collage method, choosing paint to compliment a Tintype photo background, paint highlighting and shading. Learn when to create within a simple format and when to stop. Create in a very simplistic style and learn to do so with only a few colors, and ephemeral pieces.

Acrylic Paints including metallic and iridescent
Reproduction paper Tintype Photographs
Ephemera: broken jewelry, buttons, keys, etc.

Student should bring:
