A twisted wire wrapped hoop skirt, a tattered lace slip and ruffle. That is left of her once rich wardrobe. Yet past elegance still shows through as precious wire wrapped baubles hang from the bottom of each curl on her wire hooped skirt. Her wooden bodice is still strong and true and a bra is sure to last forever when it is made of metal findings. One has to make do with what one can find such as ruffled collars of tarnished mesh screen and hand gathered cotton lace around her waist. But in the misc. objects that make up her attire, her Paper Clay painted face still retains its sweet hope and she keeps her hair stylishly up in mound of curled wire. Even the sweet Paper Clay bird that has perched on her out stretched slender Paper Clay arm wishes her well and she hopes to hang on to the belief that her fancy bee hive hairdo filled with mounds of curled wire will be sure to bring her luck as she looks for her new home.Materials Fee: $20 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
