A little bit old world, a touch of relic and a whole lotta gorgeous! I was inspired by the jewelry of the ancient world when I designed these rings. My aim was for something that looks like it may have been dug from an excavation site, but I also love the sleek stylishness of these. Elegant enough to wear every day and unique enough to be noticed, you’ll get tons of compliments when you wear one of these beauties…and you can say you made it yourself!
In this class I’ll show you the basics of using the jeweler’s saw (it’s fun, I promise!) In addition, we’ll cover pattern making, filing, shaping, annealing, hardening and finishing. I’ll show you how to add a great texture, and patina, to your metal that will give it that “excavated” look. If you’ve never done silver soldering before, this class is a great introduction to that skill. Our stone will be pressure set, giving this ring a gorgeously simple look.

Supply List:
20 gauge sterling silver sheet, 1cm x 3 inches per ring.
26 gauge sterling silver sheet (copper is acceptable) 3x3 inches. This amount will make one or two rings, depending on the size of the stone.
