You will leave with an immense curiosity and overwhelming urge to experiment with all kinds of paints and materials, plus you will also leave with a finished painting, or two or three.
I love watching rivers flow and water dance. This mesmerizing quality is translated to paint when we learn how to use the paint viscosity and additives to get our flow. I will share with you my many days of experiments so you can jump right in and go with the flow and pour your heart out.

We begin with learning about the interaction between surface, viscosity and paint; continue with color mixing and pouring and then pull the composition together using paint pens and collage. The real kick is the interaction that happens when different paint mixtures meet. Its chemistry and love at first sight. You will learn which additives work on different surfaces, how to shop the hardware store for inexpensive art supplies, create depth and layers with paint markers, collage and sprays.

Spray bottle for water
Spray bottle for alcohol

heat gun if you want your own
