Painted Visions 6:30 -9:30 Friday Kelly Kilmer $85
Student Level: All levels welcome
Type of Workshop: Process and Project
Prerequisite: None
Do you love color? In this unusual workshop, we'll combine one of my favorite mediums: water soluble crayons with some of my other favorite toys to create a colorful canvas journal. Prepare to get messy and have a lot of fun doing so.
Student should bring:
Apron
Scissors
Small selection of favorite collage ephemera
Bone folder
Cork backed metal ruler
1" chip/bristle brush to glue
A few of your favorite glue sticks
An old catalog or magazine to glue on (if you don't want to use all of your waxed paper for this)
Permanent Ink Pad (like Staz-On)
Roll of waxed paper
Paper towels or rag
Water container
*We will be using water soluble crayons and various acrylic mediums in the class. Feel free to bring water soluble crayons
(caran d'ache neocolor II's, Caran d'ache neo art watersoluble wax pastels, lyra, stabilo woody crayons, etc... if you prefer
not to share but I will have my stash for you to share.)
