This class introduces you to the ancient art of NOTAN – the principles of light space (positive) and dark space (negative). From one piece of paper you will learn to cut and glue designs resulting in astounding new dimensions. I will demonstrate some creative exercises that will fascinate artists and crafters at all levels of expertise. These designs can be incorporated into any type of media you work in. I teach NOTAN often and honestly, people are always amazed with the process and love it
Teacher will supply:
All papers, adhesives and tools. Everything you need.
Students should bring:
Scissors
X-acto knife
P encil
