Mother's Little Helper 9:00 - 4:30 Tuesday August 11th
  Pamela Huntington $145

Student Level: All

Type of Workshop: Process and Project
Prerequisite: None

Shadow Boxes have always been a favorite of mine. I love creating a “story in a box”. For this project we will begin by with collaging a background with old text, images and paints. Using pieces of wood to simulate fence posts I will show you how to add an image to these pieces of thin wood and blend them into it for a vintage look. Using pre-cut pieces of copper I will show you how to etch metal to add to the stand for your “little helper”.

Our finishing touches will be a clothesline across the top with charms, laces and ribbons. I hope you can join me for a fun day of creating a story box of your own!
