Kumomi™ is a creative process developed by Karen Elaine which combines the randomness of spontaneous painting with the control of mindful drawing as a meditative art form. The goal is not necessarily to create a masterpiece but to enjoy the creative process, relax the body and open the mind.

In this three hour workshop students will learn the Kumomi process and will work on several wooden tiles. Students will finish at least one tile during the session and can take the others along with them as well supplies needed to practice Kumomi at their leisure.
