In this fun and festive workshop, we will totally transform a regular 6”x6” canvas into a very special piece of art.You will learn to make some amazing articulated (moveable) art figures and animals from various papers. You will learn to design backgrounds and composition for your wide-edge canvas. I hope you bring in some of your favorite decorative papers, and any paste or painted papers that you'd like to use. I will have patterns for those who choose not to use their own drawings or designs.
Materials fee: $15 payable to Instructors at class time includes:
Two 6”x6”x2” wide-edge canvases
Standard metal brads
Adhesives
Sharpie pens
Card stock
and use of:
Limited paint colors
Limited decorative papers
Brushes
My original patterns
And everything else you should need
Students should bring:
Scissors
X-acto knife
P encil
Optional:
Any favorite papers you would like to use
