Prerequisite: Student must be comfortable navigating their way around their computer, opening and closing files.
Beautiful Black & White - seeing the world in monochrome
Modern Black and White photography is timeless - and many photographers regard it as the purest form of photography.
In this class we will work on discussing what kind of images work in Black and White and work on a number of different post processing techniques in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to convert our images into stunning Black and Whites.
We will work with layers, layer adjustments and finishing techniques. We will also convert some of our images to create a timeless Vintage look, complete with textures and frames.Supplies Provided by the Instructor: All working digital files needed to complete each project, including samples and stock images, vintage ephemera and texture files.
Materials Fee: $5 payable to Instructor at class time includes:

CD with electronic files
Student Should Bring:
Laptop computer (WIN or MAC) with a mouse and a Wacom tablet if you have one.
Long Extension cord
Software – Photoshop CS5 or higher OR Photoshop Elements 8 or higher is required
Optional: A selection of your own images or photos to work on.NOTE: You can download 30 day trial versions of the software from Adobe if you do not already own the software.
