You Wanna Yupo?
Wednesday July 30th 9 - 4:30 $145 Mary Beth Shaw
Student Level: All
Type of Workshop: Process and Project
We will push our art right off the substrate in this mixed media class. Working with Yupo paper for dimensional interest, you will learn about the unique qualities of this fascinating surface. With inks, acrylic paints, markers and mediums, Yupo gives us so many options. We can play with building fascinating depth that incorporates layer after layer of color and literally jumps right off the surface or we can create subtle effects. By the end of the day, you will have art so complex that people can't figure out exactly how you made it. And isn't that what we all want?
