This is either a 6 hour or a 9 hour workshop. The second day, 3 hours (Thursday evening), is optional as explained below. Both sections are priced separately.

You will learn how to create incredible, one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art. We will also learn how to use clay molds to make faces and masks, or things such as embellishments for collage. I suggest that you bring some pictures or sketches of what you would like to design.

In this class we make all of the clay pieces, however, we will use creative paper clay which takes a few days to dry. Therefore this class will run over 9 hours. Day 1 (6 hours) to make the clay pendants and Day 2 (3 hours) to finish the piece with embellishments, paint and varnish so they are ready to wear. If you would prefer, you may paint and glaze your pieces at home making Day 2 optional. I will be giving you instructions for finishing.

Pencil

X-acto knife

Small cutting mat (optional)

A couple of small water color brushes

Any type of clay tools you like to work with
