Picture Perfect
Sunday Eve 6:30 - 9:30 $65 Cindy Kovack
Student Level: Beginner
Type of Workshop: Process and Project
Prerequisite: None
Altering photographs has become my new passion. I love the dimensional nature of adding paint and paper to each colored work of art. In this technique/project class you will learn to alter photographs by lifting color, adding “scratch” interest, and various additions of vibrant color using crayons, pens and collage. You’ll scratch and color your way to perfection. Learn how to take away parts of a photograph, then add color where needed. You will also add verbiage, collage pieces and simply add some very fun effects. You will be able to use these photos in your journals or for cards to that special someone in your life. The one photo you’ll see was altered for my best friend’s birthday card, and she truly enjoyed my artistic interpretation.
