    Subtle meets colorful in this surface design class that incorporates thermofax, chine collé, stamps, stencils and dry embossing. Two instructors - double the techniques and double the fun! You will create a frameable piece of art on a fabulous Italian substrate. Plus you will walk away with a multitude of ideas to incorporate into you future mixed media works.

Materials fee of $20 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
  • printmaking substrate
  • collage material
  • deli paper
  • paints
  • stencils
  • stamps
  • mediums
  • Students will also receive a kit that includes a thermofax, stencil, copying pencil and oil based pencil

    Students should bring:
  • soft rubber brayer
  • painting brushes
  • glue brush
  • water container
  • palette (paper plates or palette paper)
  • pencil
  • baby wipes
  • scissors
  • stylus

    Optional: if you have an iPad with the Lightbox app, or if you have a small lightbox
