Good as Gold
Wednesday Eve 6:30 - 9:30 $65 Cindy Kovack
Student Level: Beginner
Type of Workshop: Process and Project
Prerequisite: None
You’ll enjoy creating on these background sheets for trading cards, journals or a canvas transfer that will definitely be one of a kind. You’ll learn to choose two complimentary colors and “wash” several sheets of watercolor paper. Learn to work with proper flow of paint to paper, adding water to move your paints. We’ll add stamps, and metallic leaf in a wet-on-wet paint/stamp process that’s most unusual. Mistakes are a plus and expected and will add to your creative work. Learn color selection, wet-on-wet paint application, wet stamp techniques, and when to add metallic leaf. These simple sheets will be a “go to” for those problem areas. Use them in your journals, with such an interesting background that you’ll find it difficult not to find a way to use them in your many projects.
