Type of Workshop: Project and Process

Learn how a stencil can be used as a composition guide, a pattern for painting and also a template for collage. Join me and see how easy it is to combine all these techniques into one retro-themed piece. We will start by painting a few simple deli papers, then we will cut and paint collage parts and finally combine it all together with stencils and paint - all the while using cohesive patterns on top of a wood substrate. Layering pattern with pattern offers tons of options that you can use in all your mixed media work.
