Type of Workshop: Project
Prerequisite: None

Birds are all the rage now so let’s add a twist to the usual and make ours unique. Paint, layers of color, details and antiquing will make your bird stand out from the crowd. He’ll rest on a wheeled, wooden axle (Well, rest might not be the right word. He’ll actually be attached to it with dowels after we drill the poor guy.) We’ll learn how to make a hat of paper clay to adorn his head and then decorate the axle with paint. What a jaunty, dandy bird!

*Materials fee of $15 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
  • all material will be supplied  to make this project
  • 2 paper clay hats to choose from
    and use of Instructor's:
  • all tools and materials you will need to create this  project
  • plus 3 drills and 2 heat guns to share
Students should bring:
