 Join Julie for a day of Alterations - designing, sewing and fun. We’ll start with ethereal lace, add ribbons, strips of pre-dyed muslin and some felt to create our mini dresses. Add some buttons, crocheted rosettes, beads & doo-dads and voila!, you’ve created a romantic mini dress ready to hang on your hand-made wrapped wire dress hangar.  Your dress will be ready for display when you return home - already on its own hangar.

Materials fee of $24 payable to Instructor at class time includes:

netting

pre-dyed strips of muslin with decorative sewn  patterns in black that are done on my fancy stitch sewing machine

15 pre wrapped wire beaded dangles

fun keys  and other objects to hang form the skirt base

pre cut felt bodice

laces

ribbon

old buttons

findings

crocheted rosettes

chain wire for necklace

wire for making hanger

needle
and use of:

scissors

extra ribbon, lace, fabric, findings, buttons, dangles, thread

Students should bring:

fabric

scissors

Work light & extension cord
