Va Va Vintage Vessels
Tuesday 9:00 - 4:30 $130 Kari McKnight Holbrook Aug 6
Student Level: Intermediate
Type of Workshop: Process
Enjoy polymer clay in its finest hour! Delight in creating lovely faux-aged vessels to store the most precious of trinkets! Learn how Knead-a-Mold casts of lovely old jewelry pieces are accented by hand rolled and textured accents, combined with found knobs, chains, charms and cast off jewelry to add that mixed media splash and sparkle. Rubber stamps and metal paints give depth and dimension, while mild acidic washes allow us to enjoy the very best of “instant” aging. The resulting new pieces have very old souls with bling and sparkle and pop of found vintage jewelry and hardware!
