Build, Construct, Roll and cut …… in this hands on workshop I will present new, innovative and literally…..cutting edge method to create die cuts from metal, repose. Emboss a variety of patterns to create beautiful finished jewelry utilizing windows and images cut from sheet metal.
I build relics and ruins reminiscent of ancient pieces from long ago. Use techniques to make a piece look worn and treasured. Combine these fabricated relics with brilliant colorful techniques that include washes and crackle on metal. Use these components for layering in combination with negative and positive space and mixed media materials. Attachments include simple riveting with height and space.
Finish a necklace pendant or a handful of mixed media material to use on journals, purse or walls.
Materials/Kit Fee of $24 payable to Instructor at class time includes:

Students should bring:
- ball peen hammer
- anvil
- (optional) jewlers saw with size 3 or 4 blades, or metal snips
- needle nose pliers
- flat nose pliers
- wire snips
- file,
- drill if you have one
- bench pin
- jewels, gems paper images
