Paper Sculpture with Bett, Just Plain Fun!

Create a wall mounted sculpture for a shadow box or an incredible insect all glittered up to be a pendant or wall art. Perhaps a necklace where the centerpiece can be easily removed and incorporated into a framed art piece when not worn? Then there are the stand-up sculptures- birds, fish, etc. You just bring a couple of sketches or pictures of what you would like to do and we will create it! *Instructor will provide a handout with written instructions and some patterns for you to use. You will learn 3-dimensional construction, adhesive methods and of course we will experiment. This class is JUST PLAIN FUN!

Kit Fee of $5 payable to Instructor at class time includes:

  • special Fabriano sculpture paper
  • glitter

Students should bring:

  • Scissors
  • pencils
  • X-acto knife with #11 blades
  • cutting mat
  • ruler
  • bone folder
  • awl

  • Optional:

    Paper punches
  • students who wish to create a shadow box should bring a shoebox and lid (made of cardboard-painted black)

Supplies Provided by Instructor:

  • Everything else, including a handout with written instructions and pattern(s)
