Painted Paper Party
Sunday eve 6:00 - 9:00 $70 Mary Beth Shaw
Student Level: All
Type of Workshop: Process and Project
Years ago I decided to stop using “store bought” papers in my work, instead choosing to create all my own materials. During this time I have developed a lot of fun techniques for painting on paper!! For this class, we will use stencils, stamps, rubbing plates, wood sticks and skewers - not always in the way you might expect. We will use high quality colored gesso which means your papers will have a nice ‘tooth’ so that you can write on them. They will also be lightfast and permanent and some will be nice enough to be stand alone art.
Join me for a true painting party, tunes included!
