Type of Workshop: Project

In this workshop we will be creating an individually created, one of a kind 16” Paper Mache Mannequin using numerous paints, mediums and found objects, scrap textures, bezels and metal pieces by layering and mixing them, some of which are newly introduced products. We will be using various textiles and paper die cutting in unique ways that we will stencil, emboss and paint to add dimension. We will be learning how to use various mediums and layering to create the artsy look of mixed media.

Supplies Provided by Instructor:

• 16” Paper Mache Mannequin
• Various found objects and products to use
• Selection of scrap textures and textiles (ribbon, lace, material, beads, etc.)
• Mediums (paste, paints)
• Mixed Media products and techniques with Spellbinders ® Paper Arts products
• Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry and Fabri Tac
• Signature line of chipboard and textile products from Want2Scrap

Students should bring:

• 4 Foam Brushes
• 2 Regular Paintbrushes, one with smaller tip, one is flat and wide
• Black Acrylic Paint
• Gesso
• Scissors
• Heat Tool
