Type of Workshop: Process and Project - Students will finish at least one completed piece
Learn how to create intricate and detailed jewelry that showcases micro Steampunk elements and other inclusions in layers of resin. Tops and tricks for working with single-part UV resin will be covered as you design one or more finished pieces. It won’t take days, but minutes to create multiple layers towards the completion of dimensional designs or mixed media collages on transparent surfaces.
Supplies Provided by Instructor for use in class:
- UV lamps
- toothpicks
- cure cards
- foundation
- alcohol wipes
- permanent markers
Kit Fee of $10 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
- bezel setting (choice may differ than what’s shown in photo)
- acrylic forms
- steampunk watch parts
- resin sampler
- mixed media inclusion kit
- image transfers
Students should bring:
- baby wipes
- fine tip tweezers
- fine tip scissors
