Learn how to stamp metal and work with leather. Students will learn to cut, dye, and finish leather in the first part of the class. In part two, students will learn metal stamping. Add all the pieces together and you will set the latest trend in fashion! Additional materials and tools maybe purchased from instructor.
Kit Fee of $35 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
- copper sheet
- brass sheet

Supplies Provided by Instructor for use in class:
- Bench Block
- Riveting hammer
- 3mm center punch (no self tapping)
- Metal files
- Bezel Shears
- Leather making tools (beveler, burnisher, wax)
- Water bowls
- Metal stamps
- Graph paper
- Sponges
- Burnishers
- Snap setters
- Sheep wool
- Gum taracanth
- Renaissance wax
Students should bring:
- 8oz hammer or household hammer
- chain nose
- flush cutters
- Exacto knife
- Sharpie (fine tip)
- Cutting surface at least 12" long
- Metal Ruler at least 12"
- Graph Paper
Optional:- Texture hammer or chasing hammer
- Divider
- Decorative metal stamps
- Magnifying glasses and Ott light* as needed
- *Extension cord for Ott light
