Type of Workshop: Process and Project - Students will finish at least one completed piece
This class will feature two unique techniques for creating stunning finished jewelry. First, we’ll create miniature collages in a bezel setting. Tell your story with tiny elements and learn techniques including hand formed metallic motifs and image transfer. After lunch, you’ll learn how to create a dazzling multi-strand crochet collar accented with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS components and genuine, freshwater pearls. The two will combine to create a wearable conversation piece.
Kit Fee of $20 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
- choice of one setting (choice may differ than what’s shown in photo)
- wire

Supplies Provided by Instructor for use in class:
- clay
- texturing tools
- blades
- toothpicks
- crochet hooks
- adhesive
Students should bring:
- 1 block each of FIMO Soft black and white
- Baby wipes
- scissors
- jewelry pliers
- wire nippers
- chain nose pliers
- flat nose pliers without grooves
