Patrick
For the past 20 years, Patrick has continued to write and perform with his band. He has shared the stage with many reggae greats including Burning Spear, Steel Pulse, Ziggy Marley, the Wailers, Inner Circle, Black Uhuru, Jimmy Cliff, Dennis Brown, and more.

He has crafted a full-time career as a painter, illustrator, and all-around mantastic crafter. He co-runs ChicanoPopArt.com with his wife Kathy Cano-Murillo (the Crafty Chica). The two of them have produced hundreds of handpainted pieces for Bloomingdales, Hallmark, Target.com, as well as more than 300 gallery shops and boutiques across the country. These days they also sell their art from their online store and at occasional events.

Patrick works in a variety of mediums such as paint, clay, tin, wood, assemblage and more. He has illustrated projects for The Arizona Republic, HarperCollins, Duncan Enterprises, the City of Phoenix, Phoenix College, and Random House. He also designed and drew hundreds of images for the new Crafty Chica product line, including a Loteria game, iron-on transfers, fabric appliques and others. His work is currently on display in “La Casa Murillo: A Life-Sized Shadow Box” at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, AZ.

Maya

Maya Murillo, 20, is a popular YouTuber and craft blogger. Growing up with two artists parents, Patrick and Kathy, she has worked along side them for all their artistic endeavors and now is branching off into her own colorful, youthful artistic style. Her specialty is fiber arts, mixed media collage, and T-shit reconstruction. When she isn't crafting, she writes and performs love songs on her ukulele! Her website is mayainthemoment.com.

Kathy

Author and artist, Kathy Cano-Murillo is the founder of the award-winning, CraftyChica.com . Known for her “Mexi-boho” style, she has been making, selling, and teaching her crafts since 1990. Her handmade pieces have been carried by Target, Bloomingdales, Hallmark, as well as hundreds of boutiques. She has a product line with iLoveToCreate and has been featured in The New York Times, USA Today and on HGTV and DIY Network. A former newspaper craft columnist for the The Arizona Republic , Kathy has authored seven craft books and two novels . She lives with her husband, two kids and five Chihuahuas.
