This class is all about texture. Now is your chance to play around with texturing mediums as well as other common, easily accessible items as we create two canvases, simultaneously. This will be a fun class to try out new mediums you may never have tried before such as various pastes and gels. Come discover the amazing products available to us to create incredible depth in your artwork. Also, discover those common items you can easily and affordable utilize as well! This class will be a wonderful time to experiment and take home two beautiful and unique pieces of art! (We will be primarily using Golden mediums for this class.) Please contact Angie with any questions at princessburninghair@cox.net.
Students should bring:
- 2 canvases in your choice of size but no smaller than 8x10, no larger than 11x14 (preferably the later)
- Golden makes a large variety of molding pastes and gels. Choose 2 or 3 small containers of the following list to bring with you. Some options are:
- Molding pastes:
- extra heavy
- molding paste
- hard molding paste
- light molding paste
- coarse molding paste
- fiber paste
- crackle paste
- Gels:
- pumice gel in fine, coarse, and extra coarse
- glass bead gel

If you have any type of texturing product by another company, then by all means, bring it. Please do not feel you need to purchase all of the products. You only need a few to play with.
