Textures and stencils are my two most favorite things. Join me as we layer it up, texture and stencils, stencils and paint, paint and texture; repeat often. Let me bring the paints and stencils as I show you ways to feature stencils in a unique manner. We will be on a layering extravaganza so to speak and, by the end of the day you will not only have a Trio of paintings but you will have learned tons of techniques to use in all your mixed media creations.
Kit fee of $20 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
all acrylic paint
gesso
texture mediums
Wood Icing Texture Paste
an exclusive stencil
Instructor will supply for use in workshop:
- paints
- texture products
- tools
- stencils
Students should bring:
- three 8x8 rigid substrates of any type (wood, claybord, etc)
- pencil
- water cup
- a few painting brushes
