Super EZ Hinges Tuesday 9 - 4:30 $145 Richard Salley
Student Level: Intermediate - Advanced
Type of Workshop: Process and Project
Mechanical hinges add versatility, movement and interest to jewelry pieces. But, hinges can be difficult to execute. In this class you will learn a super easy technique for creating hinges that will eliminate any fears you may have about making them. You will leave the class with one or more hinged pendants and the necessary skills to use hinges in your own projects. Part of the fun of the class will be the problem solving necessary to capture the objects that you bring for inclusion in your pendant. Along the way we will explore soldered and cold connections, prong and tab settings, riveting and the use of microbolts.
