    Join Susan Lenart Kazmer in a first time hands-on two day workshop where you will learn all aspects in building figuratively to complete an original, wearable, figurative, mixed-media piece.

    This is a project/process workshop. On the first day, students will follow instructions and be guided step by step to sculpt and cast head, feet, legs, hands and arms. Susan introduces ICE Resin- the processes, experimentation and manipulation involved in pre-casting and casting. All student work is set to cure overnight.

    On the second day Susan works with students to connect, assemble and finish a figure by using components, ribbons, paper, metal, found objects to create removable, wearable jewelry.

    Kit fee of $52 payable to instuctor at class time includes:

  • bronze or nickel metal sheet
  • bronze wire
  • 8 oz ice resin
  • .75 lbs. Super Sculpey
  • 1 lb. Art Mechanic Modeling Putty
  • one wooden modeling tool
  • use of tools
  • handouts
