Tuesday 9 August - 9:00 - 4:30 $135

Student Level:
All
Type of Workshop: Process

We will create an over-the-top bangle bracelet using a base form, various wrapping techniques and beading. You glitz it up as much or as little as desired. During the class you will be able to complete the four basic ‘show’ piece foundations of your bracelet. By show pieces, I mean those fabulous unique beads you're not sure what to do with.  These beads will be set into the four foundations of the bracelet and then beaded between the show pieces.

Kit fee of $15 payable to Instructor at class time includes: Silk sari ribbon, assorted beads, beading thread and wire, beading needles, woven ribbon, bracelet form, Aileen's Tacky Glue

Supply List: (for a color coordinated bangle)

  • Four color matched show beads, 1/2" or under, but bracelet can accommodate larger
  • Seed beads/Delicas to match or contrast show beads
  • Hex beads or Aurora Borealis 10011/0 for glitz
  • Variety of small metal, acrylic, glass etc. beads, 4-8 mm. Bring all beads you don’t know what to do with
  • Needle threader (I need one, makes threading easier)
