Back by popular Demand! Spend the day creating this grid of textured squares in YOUR choice of decorator colors We will combine a selection of magazine images, and assorted textured papers which we will cut, paste, and alter in a five step process to create your very own original masterpiece. This class will offer you a new collage technique to add to your altered books, journal techniques and on your ATC’s. This is a resist technique that lets you alter the magazine colors and images for people who can not draw. We will create the tiles on a 12’ by 12” stretched wrap around canvas. This canvas will be ready to display on your wall when you arrive home. The class is a full day class and is for all levels. No experience necessary.
Materials fee of $10 is payable to Instructor at classtimeand includes Crystal clear acrylic, gloss spray sealer, Nevr Dull, Portfolio oil pastels, Tissue papers and textured papers, Small plastic bottle with Jacquard Stainless Steel metal tip # 9 filled with a white PVA glue ( Elmer's ) or gesso, Magazine images
Supply List:- One 12” by 12” stretched wrap around canvas painted black with acrylic paint
- Two to three acrylic paint in your choice of colors
- 32 magazine images 3.5 inch squares
- Images should show strong line or pattern design, in your choice of colors although dark colors work better than light colors
- Small sharp paper scissors
- Golden Soft Gel Matte or liquid matte medium
- Old paint brush #6 or #8
- Exacto knife and sharp blade and metal ruler
- Cutting surface
