Resin Clay Beads & Sculptural Forms Thursday evening 6:30 - 9:30 $80 Sherri Haab
Student Level: All
Type of Workshop: Process and Project
Resin clay is a 2 part mixture that cures at room temperature. It comes in a variety of colors and can be shaped and sculpted in a variety of ways to make jewelry. Learn to make faux concrete, copper wood with the clay. You can embed objects into the clay or paint it after curing. Unlike polymer, this clay does not require baking to cure, so there are materials you can combine with the clay without worrying about the effects of heat. Learn the properties of the clay and a variety of ideas for using the clay for jewelry application. The best feature about this clay is that it is very strong and will not break as easily as polymer clay, which allows you to make delicate pieces.
