Novice students will experience the magic of PMC and how this amazing material is used to create beautiful fine silver art jewelry pieces. You will learn how to properly plan and measure your work so the final piece is successful. The basic processes which include: texturing, shaping, forming, will be covered in the making of these fun rings.
The rings will be finished in their green state, fired and patinated. Since the majority of the work is done before firing; there will be only patina and polishing out of the kiln.
Optional Kit fee of $35 payable to Instructor at class time includes 16 g PMC 3
If you choose not to buy the Optional Kit, you must bring 16 g PMC 3 to the workshop.
Supplies Provided by Instructor: There will be new, full tool kits for use for each student. All tool kits are available for purchase, if desired, at the end of the workshop.
Supply List: If you purchase the kit for $35 all the PMC will be included. Prices are reasonable, but are dictated by the cost of silver. Due to the volatility of the precious metals market; prices may be higher or lower at class time.
