Create a visual conversation within a wood block collage infused with your spirit, collections and findings. Pull out those paper scraps, photos, beads and findings you’ve been saving and let’s put them to use! Finished piece will be ready to be hung on the wall. Small wood blocks will be provided to students.
- Supply list:
- 1 or 2 pieces of wood at least 1/4” inch thick. Look around your home, studio or garage, chances are you may have something that can be repurposed. Size should be at least 5”x7”.
- A couple of paint brushes - small and large
- A water container for washing brushes
- A rag/towel for drying brushes
- A variety of papers or photos for collage
- A small hammer and small nails no longer than 1”
- Small jar of modge podge, acrylic medium or water based adhesive of your choice
- Small container of acrylic paint for painting background - color is up to you, there will b a selection of paints available
Optional embellishment goodies: gel pens, beads, glitter, sequins, small screws, small washers, buttons, sea shells, stamps, die cuts.
