Flashing faceted crystals take on a whole new dimension when sewn into these quick and easy beaded beads. You will stitch and string a bunch with contrasting accent beads for a sparkle-plenty bracelet.
Students may or may not complete the project in class, depending on skill and speed level, but will go home with the necessary skills and instructions to finish.
*Optional Kit Fee of $55 payable to instructor at class time includes: Swarovski crystals, contrasting spacer beads (large and small), seed beads, fine (.014) beading wire, crimps, sterling crimp covers, sterling silver clasp, beading needles and thread.
Supplies Provided by Teacher: Use of Chain nose pliers, wire cutters, crimping tool, bees wax, and beading pads.
*Students choosing not to purchase kit from Instructor must bring the following items:- 98 – 4mm bi-cone Swarovski crystals for the cubes (if you wear a longer length bracelet add 14 bi-cones per extra inch needed)
- 8 contrasting large spacer beads about 6mm to 8mm (add one for each cube if adding extra cubes).
- 16 small spacer beads about 2mm to 3mm (add 2 for each cube if adding extra cubes).
- Small amount of 11º or 15º seed beads in contrasting color to 4mm bi-cones used for cubes.
- Beading needles size 12.
- Beading thread – Nymo B or D, Silamide, or other.
- Bees wax or thread conditioner.
- Small clasp
- Fine beading wire (.014), Soft Flex™ or other, 1 foot or more.
- 2 – 1mm crimps for beading wire.
- 2 – 3mm crimp covers (optional)
Tool List - all students must bring:
- Sharp scissors – small embroidery scissors or power thread zapper are recommended.
- Ott light or work light, and extension cord.
- Optional – bring if you have them: chain nose pliers and crimping tool
