We’ll saturate squares of fabric with paint. Slice and dice. Combine and recombine. Mix with organic forms. The simplicity of method opens the way for experimentation with color, with form, with pushing our limits. We’ll create mini-masterpieces suitable for framing, for journal covers or simply scattered on the cocktail table as coasters. Your cup of coffee never had it so good. I love small projects like this. They’re so no brainer, so non-threatening that sometimes we go much further than we ever could with a project that ‘really mattered’. So let’s get out of our own way and let the right brain take the wheel and run, run, run with it
Materials fee of $15 payable to Instructor at class time includes: fabric painting medium, acrylics to supplement your color selection, prewashed fabric squares
Supply List:- 3- 4 tubes acrylics in color range you choose to work with
- 1/2 yard heavyweight canvas
- several spatulas (bowl scrapers) or putty knives
- several 1/2” – 2” paintbrushes
- scissors
- paint shirt
