BronzClay Bell Earrings/Pendant Monday 9:00 - 4:30 $130

Student Level:
All
Type of Workshop: Project

Students start with their own drawing or a black and white copyright free design. We then use a UV light source to transfer this design onto a light sensitive material to create a plate, somewhat similar to a rubber stamp. This design will be the texture students use to create beautiful BronzClay bells, which can be worn as earrings and a pendant. Once fired, we’ll discover that each bell, though similar to one another, has its own distinguishing ‘chime’. Students will go home with a whimsical set of jewelry and the knowledge they need to create a multitude of inexpensive design plates for future polymer or metal clay use.

Supplies provided by the Instructor include all materials necessary for creating the Photo Polymer plates and for working with the BronzClay, molds, and other materials to enhance the class experience.

Kit fee of $20 payable to Instructor at class time includes: Metal clay tool kit, bell armature and pattern, Photo polymer plate, brass wire, polishing paper
